ok so i have just made some catfish bait and it is about an inch and a half long.. and im wondering how should i hook it so then it will be easy to set the hook when i get a bite? ~>Th@nkZ 4 All AnS3rZ<~
I have found that the beef heart sold at butcher shops producing amazing results when fishing catfish, and I have caught some big ones. Is this legal? Also, while we’re at it, what have you found that just lures em to your hook?
i went fishing yesterday september 12th 2009 and i caught 2 fish and one of them was a catfish and the othher one was a greyish red fish tiny so i put them back in the water and afterward i saw a a really tiny catfish with brown markings on it. it and was upside down like half dead half alive so i got a bottle of water and put the catfish inside and adter 2-3mins it got better i thjough of taking it home it not illegal coz my uncle got a fishing licence i took it home and i had a really large tank so i put it in their so i fed it some frosen maggots i got some live bloodworms,live mosquito larvea do u know what else it will eat i tried bread and i molded it into tiny tiny ball and the cat fish ate it but i wanna know more it nice it was the same as the big catfish i saw. it was 28 cm and the tiny one was 10 cm thnx
I just moved to winter springs Florida. i want to take my son fishing for catfish. i heard that St. Johns river is a good place. but the river is long and i would like to know where on the river to go. plus any other place (lake, pond or river) that would be good to go for catfish.
I have no luck fishing with Berkleys dough cat fish baits. Everytime I put a worm back on my hook I get nibbles. Is this bait false advertisement?

I’m planning a fishing trip for my family, as my daughter has been asking to go for months. It’s become obvious that if its going to happen, I’m going to have to put it together. My husband is the avid fisher, but he mostly does surf fishing. We have local lakes down the street they stock with catfish, trout, bluegill. We have poles, but what other equipment should I get? (floats, weights, etc?)
